10 bizarre Harry Potter fan fiction romances you will simply not be able to forget

Well, it’s been a while since the last Harry Potter movie was released. It is worth remembering the craze this J.K. Rowling series evoked in fans all around the world. From alternative story lines, to climaxes and relationships, fans tried to change things they simply couldn’t bear or wanted differently.

Here are 10 bizarre romances Harry Potter fans conjured up to enjoy imagining different likelihoods of their favourite characters.

1. There are many write ups on Snape bringing together the vicious Draco Malfoy and the Weasley girl Ginny. Ginny has to teach Draco potion-making and the potion she ends up teaching is anything but innocent. Well you never know what the dark Slytherin common room holds?!

2. Do you remember the guy who blows himself up at the Hogwarts dinner table trying to turn water into rum? Well ya, that’s the boy Hermoine didn’t have a second glance for.

Well, you would be surprised that there is a fan version where Seamus asks Hermoine to the ball and eventually they fall in love and marry to Ron’s dismay! Who’s up for that? I don’t think even Hermoine is!!!

3. Lily falls for Sirius Black instead of James Potter! Imagine this! What would have happened to the whole series if it turned out this way?! Probably nothing. Lily dies in the start anyways, what does it matter if it’s James or Sirius right?! Harry seems to disagree….

4. Draco simply can’t get over Hermoine and guess what, neither can Hermoine. There are many ‘if Draco and Hermoine fell for each other’ versions, and fans have let their imagination stretch real far on this one!! Ron looks far from happy….

5. There are passionate fan theories about an affair between  Harry Potter and the French student witch, Fleur Delacour. The both get talking about Hedwig(Harry’s owl),  a common concern in one story, that leads to batting of eyelids!  Besides there are other interesting versions of this romance including Harry serving as Delacour’s bodyguard! Hmmmmm!

6. There have been same sex romances too! Draco notices how well Harry has grown and is thinking of getting to the right side of the potter boy! There are deviants in which Ron and Draco fight for Harry! Wonder what Ms Rowling thinks of these!!!

7.  This one ups the bizarre quotient a bit. A fan has written a Potter episode in which Sirius writes love letters to Remus Lupin. This makes sense because in most of the books Sirius is in exile and has no one but Lupin to get his back. Love watchha got until you get better!

8. Believe it or not, even the formidable professor Snape has not been let off. There are fan writings in which the potions master is seen falling head over heels for the quick witted Hermoine Granger. The feeling is not lost on the other side as well. These have taken a serious teacher-student romance turn. Still, Severus Snape, really…?

9. Do you remember the distracted, weird, ominous yet good-hearted Luna Lovegood? Luna has been paired with nearly everybody you can think of from Harry, to the Weasleys and the well meaning Neville Longbottom.

Though Luna found no one particularly interesting in the books, fan fictions sure abound in choices for this soft spoken Potter girl.

10. In all these, the romance between Lord Voldemort and Harry takes the cake.  From being brothers, to secret friends to co-villains and lovers, every angle has been tried to bring together the polar opposites of the Potter series. Here,  it’s not one at the cost of the other, rather one for the other! Ughhhhh!!

Well these are just few of the many pairings done by fans!  Harry Potter still stirs the minds of many and one way is in pairing these characters the way you like to see them!
