Just as a painter has a favourite subject, a director has a favourite actress, a fashion designer always has a MUSE—a face, a personality or a body around which her/his designs are based. The wait in the front row at a fashion week for that last dress to walk the ramp is a WAIT all right, but what the paparazzi and the fashionistas are most anxious about is—who will wear it?

Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016 had some of Bollywood’s most stunning icons donning the designers’ best crafted pieces, walking the ramp and stealing the show.
