A Mexican teen died of a stroke, after receiving a love bite from his girlfriend.
Julio Macias Gonzalez, 17 was having a moment with his 22-year-old girlfriend, when a love bite caused a blood clot that traveled to the brain, leading to the stroke. Julio who started having convulsions and was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
The girlfriend has apparently disappeared after the incident. However, the boy’s parents are not blaming her for Julio’s death.
As bizarre as the incident might sound, it is not the first time such a thing has happened. Back in 2011, a 44-year-old woman from New Zealand was left partially paralyzed after having a stroke under similar circumstances.
A romantic encounter had left her unable to move her left arm. Doctors said that a blood clot from a love bite had traveled to her heart causing the paralysis.
