The BCCI recently announced that Ravi Shastri will take over as India’s interim coach ahead of the team’s Bangladesh tour, ending months of speculation about Duncan Fletcher’s possible replacement.

Several big names, including former captains Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid had been floating around in the media as probable candidates for the position of the head coach.
