25 ‘Sorry Shaktimaan’ memes that will troll you for life
Remember Shaktimaan? If you don’t, then you’re about to feel really sorry.
The segment at the end of each episode of India’s first superhero TV show used to feature a bunch of kids (and sometimes adults) doing inglorious things and Mr. Shaktimaan showing them the path of righteousness.
The segment always concluded with the (now iconic) dialogue, ‘Sorry Shaktimaan’.
The two words went on to become a part of popular fiction and common diction, so much so that every time we uttered the word ‘sorry’ it became almost impossible to resist the temptation to add ‘Shaktimaan’ at the end of it.
The Shaktimaan days are well behind us. But the words ‘Sorry Shaktimaan’ still ring in our ears every time we attempt to lie, cheat and steal.
