Beyond luxury and fun, we all know Delhi has an extremely old history. It had been the capital of various realms and continues to tell stories from different periods. So here are 5 of the scariest places in Delhi that  you must visit at least once to experience how ‘spooky’ they really are:

1. Khooni Nadi | Rohini, New Delhi-85

A river flowing through Rohini, most Delhiites believe that whosoever enters it, gets sucked in by a powerful force. It is also said that a lot of people have lost their lives here due to mysterious causes.

2. Feroz Shah Kotla | Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi-02

Feroz shah Kotla fort, located on the Bahadur Shah Zafar road is one of the spookiest places in Delhi. This site is said to have Djinns living in the remnants of the dim lobbies. Each Thursday this place sees a lot of activity – the locals light candles, leave offerings of milk and grain, write letters to the Djinns wishing for something in their life to come true.

3. Agrasen ki Baoli | New Delhi

A step well built by Maharaja Agrasen in the mid of fourteenth Century, Agrasen ki Baoli comprises of 103 steps made of red stones.  It is said that the power of the unnatural increases as you move down towards the water. Popularly known as the ‘Baoli of the inconspicuous’, this place is an architectural wonder as well.

4. House No. W-3 | Greater Kailash-I | South Delhi

House No. W-3, Greater Kailash-I is a ‘haunted’ house situated in South Delhi. The house belonged to an aged couple who were brutally killed about 10 years ago. After the incident took place, it is said that there are strange sounds of screaming and weeping often heard coming from this place.

5. Dwarka Sector 9 Metro Station | New Delhi-75

People living in this area say that they have experienced unnatural activities during the evening. They have often said to have encountered a lady showing up and vanishing with powerful negative energy left behind.
