A man from China who allegedly live-streamed himself raping dogs was thrashed by animal vigilantes after luring him into a trap.
The man apparently charged customers 50 RMB (Rs. 501 ) to beat the dogs before having sex with them.
Animal activists first noticed the videos three weeks ago, tracked the unnamed man to southwestern China’s Sichuan province, where they found him running a dog brothel.
Undercover activists contacted the man on the pretext they were interested in what he did. When he offered them a demonstration and took his clothes off, the activists dragged him out to the road and thrashed him. As they beat him, they held up banners which said that he had sexually assaulted female dogs and was running a sick dog brothel.
When the beating eventually stopped, the local residents called up the police and the man was taken to the hospital. Reportedly, the man cannot be charged for abusing the dogs, which were all strays. However, he is being investigated for streaming such content online.
The police are also investigating on the actions of the mob, but no arrest has been made yet. The rescued dogs were taken to animal shelter and were put up for adoption.
