Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women in the world. At a recent luncheon hosted by French President Francois Hollande during his India visit, Aishwarya, one of the invitees to the lunch party, looked ethereal in a red Banarasi saree.
Choosing to go with ethnic Indian wear for the much-talked about luncheon, Aishwarya looked ravishing in the silk saree by designer duo Swati and Sunaina, which she teamed with polki jewellery, red lips and roses.
Aishwarya has had a strong French connect for a long time now. Apart from being a regular at the Cannes International Film Festival, the actress has also been bestowed with the prestigious ‘Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters’, a civilian award by the French government.

Actress Kalki Koechlin was also on the invitee list but she was unable to attend the event. Other Indian celebrities who were present at the do included designer Ritu Beri, who has received French government’s Chevalier Des Arts et Des Lettres award, as well as designer Manish Arora, whose connect with French capital Paris is known worldwide.
