Catfights are not a new thing in the film industry. Whether it is fighting over movies or ex-boyfriends, style statements or brand endorsements, we have often seen actresses get into a war of words with each other.
Now, if reports are to be believed, all is not well between Jacqueline Fernandes and Katrina Kaif. Jackie, who was raving about Katrina recently in an interview, apparently got a cold shoulder from Katrina when the two got together recently. On being compared to Katrina, Jackie had stated that Katrina had always inspired her and that she was a big fan of Katrina’s work. As both of them come from outside India, they also share an unsaid bond of being the “firangs” in the industry who made it big.
Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra made an appearance on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 to promote their upcoming movie Baar Baar Dekho, a show on which Jackie is a judge. However, when one of the contestants Nora Fatehi danced to Katrina’s song Mashallah, and Jackie said that her belly dance was even better than Katrina’s, it did not go down well with the actress.
This was made evident when during a break, Jacqueline decided to make a Snapchat video with the ‘Dream Team’ of Karan Johar (who is also a judge on the show), Katrina an Sidharth. While Karan and Sidharth were playful in the video, Katrina royally ignored the camera. She did not even smile or look at the camera, and Jackie had to turn the video off.
