Andrew Flintoff has the last laugh in the Twitter war with Amitabh Bachchan
The twitter spat between Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and former English cricketer Andrew Flintoff reached a new level. The latter got back at the actor following India’s defeat to the West Indies in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup on Thursday.
Following India’s victory over Australia last Sunday, Flintoff took a jab at Virat Kohli and said that the Indian cricketer will soon become ‘as good as’ Joe Root if he continues to perform similarly. Joe Root had led a thrilling 230-run-chase against South Africa by smashing 83 off 44 balls. England won by two wickets and with two balls remaining.
At this rate @imVkohli will be as good as @root66 one day ! Not sure who @englandcricket will meet in the final now !

An excited Bachchan didn’t leave the Englishman scott-free.
@flintoff11 @imVkohli @root66 @englandcricket Root who ? जड़ से उखाड़ देंगे Root ko ..!!!

But Flintoff did have the last laugh after all.
He tweeted yesterday:
Shall we go to the final ? Reckon my mate @SrBachchan can get us a couple of tickets ? https://t.co/eEJTKGu5FU
