Baahubali actor Prabhas becomes first South Indian actor to be waxed at Madame Tussauds

In a proud moment for South India, fans of the epic film Baahubali and for the Telugu film industry, actor Prabhas is going to be featured at the Madame Tussauds wax museum. The Baahubali actor is all set to join the list of elite actors and other personalities of India at the museum, which includes Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Mahatma Gandhi, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Narendra Modi, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Sachin Tendulkar.

The southern film industry is naturally elated by this news. Baahubali is the highest earning movie of last year and has made and broken many film records globally and in India. Director SS Rajamouli and co-star Rana Daggubati congratulated Prabhas on achieving this feat. While Rana said to the media, “What joy and pride it brings me when the Brother the Baahubali Prabhas has his very own statue at the Madame Tussauds!”, director Rajamouli tweeted and announced this happy news.

Prabhas also shared some moments from this proud day with his fans. His statue will be unveiled in Bangkok in March 2017 and will be subsequently toured all over the world.
