Bangalore: Two men arrested after they killed a woman and had sex with her corpse

Two men were arrested in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly murdering a 28-year-old woman and engaging in intercourse with her dead body in Bangalore.

According to police, Urmila Devi was found dead at her house on Chunchaghatta Main Road on August 15 by her husband Sanjayprasad Gupta, a street food seller. The suspects have been identified as Azad Ali alias Raju, 20 and Shyam alias Ghanashyam, 22.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that Raju who worked under Gupta and had left the work without informing. Allegedly, there was an altercation between the two, as Gupta had failed to pay Raju’s salary of Rs. 7,500. Enraged, Raju decided to rob Gupta’s house and sought the help of his friend Ghanashyam.

On August 15, the two went to Gupta’s house and found Urmila home alone. They strangled her and then smashed her head with a rock. They then engaged in necrophilia with  the woman’s body, before running away with Rs. 24,500 of stolen cash. The two fled to Uttar Pradesh after the incident.
