We all have our favorite superheroes, and one of the most popular superhero in the world is Batman. While the crazy fan inside us dreams to own something that belongs to Batman, a man’s dream recently came true at an auction in London.
Batpod, which was the caped crusader’s vehicle in the 2012 blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises, was auctioned off recently in London, and it was bought by a man for a humongous amount. The Batpod, which was among the many TV and film memorabilia items auctioned off at the do, sold for 312,000 pounds at the auction. From the same film, Batman’s Batsuit sold off for 192,000 pounds and the Batsuit from 2005’s Batman Begins sold off for 96,000 pounds.

At the same auction, filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s clapperboard from 1975’s Jaws sold off for 84,000 pounds. Harry Potter’s acceptance letter for Hogwarts, complete with the wax seal, was bought for 8,400 pounds.
