As per a report by Hindustan Times, the match was held to raise awareness about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign.
While Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Dino Morea and Sidharth Malhotra represented Bollywood, Babul Supriyo, minister of state for heavy industries led a long line of politicians.
