Just days after the incident in Delhi where a Ola driver was arrested for secretly filming a female passenger, a similar story comes to light and this time it’s in Bangalore.

Akanksha Gautam put up a post on Facebook, alleging that a auto rickshaw driver was taping her and she found out about only by accident.

The incident took place on July 24th. The woman was trying to book a cab from Richmond Town to Lavelle Road, but every one of them canceled on her dude to rain. She decided to take an auto instead, but none of them were stopping for her either.  When she was about to give up and head back home, a rickshaw driver stopped and agreed to drop her to her destination.

According to Akanksha, the driver looked really creepy and was constantly staring at her through the rear-view mirror and smiling at her.  The driver applied a sudden break near a pot hole, and a phone dropped from the top of the auto. Upon inspection, Akanksha found that it’s camera was on video mode and was recording her.

The auto driver was realized he was in trouble and started begging for her forgiveness and return back to the phone. She however held on to it and told him to first drop her to the destination.

Upon reaching the destination, she unfortunately found no policemen around and so decided to call her friend. Meanwhile, a few people who observed all the commotion gathered around to see what was going on.

The woman thought someone would help her, but instead they accused her of creating a scene. It was only when her friend arrived that he was able calm down the situation down. The auto driver, however, escaped scot free.

Akanksha said that the phone contained videos of other women in the phone. She is yet to make a formal complaint.

Update: The Facebook post has now been removed.
