Bihar Muslims donate land for world’s largest temple, sends Twitter abuzz
In an exemplary gesture, Muslims in Bihar have donated land to help construct the world’s largest temple at Janki Nagar near Kesaria in East Champaran district of Patna. According to news reports, the temple is expected to have the capacity to seat close to 20,000 people.
With a budget of over Rs. 500 crore, the construction of this earthquake proof temple is slated to start in June and is expected to be 2, 500 feet long, 379 feet high and 1,296 feet wide.
This news set Twitter abuzz with people reacting to this stellar demonstration of communal harmony. Here’s what a few have to say:
But do we need a temple? World"s largest hospital or school would be a better way to heaven. http://t.co/uaCzS0O3rl
