Chandy’s press secretary P T Chacko, who penned the English adaptation of the first volume of Kunjunju Kathakal received the translated copy.

The first volume of the collection had hit the book stands in 2009. The English version was released in 2013. Victoria had earlier penned a book on India called India: Brodyachee Blazhenstva (India: Wandering Bliss).

“Victoria liked the idea of the book, and she pointed out that it could find readers in Russia. So many Russian titles have been published in Malayalam, but very few of our books have found Russian translations,” P T Chacko was quoted by The New Indian Express.

Earlier this month, veteran Malayalam film actor Madhu had launched the second volume of Kunjunju Kathakal with the former additional chief secretary to the government of Kerala Babu Paul.
