Microsoft is set to become the first tech company to introduce the offensive ‘middle finger’ emoji for Windows users.

The middle finger emoji was approved by Unicode 7 in 2014, but has remained absent from iOS, OS X, Android, and Windows until now. But it’s finally set to make its way through with the latest Windows 10 update, according to Emojipedia.

While the default tone of the emoji is Gray, in keeping with the racial diversity standards introduced along with the same update, users will be offered 5 other skin colours for the emoji.

Aside from the middle finger, the Windows 10 update will introduce several new emojis and interesting modifications to some existing ones, including the Relieved Face, Confounded Face, Haircut and Carousel Horse. You can read more about it here.
