Previously, there were reports that BSNL was launching what was easily the most aggressive broadband plan yet. According to the news that was circling around, the state owned telecom operator was offering a jaw-dropping 20GB of 3G data for Rs 50, which can be shared by 5 BSNL users across the country.

In a turn of events, BSNL told Digit that there were no such plans. “We also don’t know where this story is originating from. As of now we don’t have any such plans,” said Sanjay Kumar, GM, Sales and Marketing, BSNL.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that Reliance Jio will be offering 75GB of 4G data and 4,000 minutes of talktime for Rs 200, to people who buy LYF handsets.
