Celebrities who got rid of tattoos of their ex
Love is blind, and separation is always bitter. But things take a worse turn when in love, a person gets the soulmate’s name or some symbol inked on his/her body, being left in regret after they split. From Johnny Depp to Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards, from Melanie Griffith to Rihanna, many celebrities have fallen prey to bad judgement in love.
Here are some cases of failed love when celebs got tattoos of their exes removed or altered after a break-up.
Angelina Jolie: After filing for divorce from Brad Pitt, we now hear that Angelina Jolie wants to remove all Brad Pitt-related tattoos to “erase any negativity”. Angelina had earlier also had her inklings of the name of her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton removed from her arm.

Eva Longoria: Eva got tattoos related to her ex-husband Tony Parker lasered off after their split in 2014. These included a “nine” (Parker’s basketball jersey number) on the back of her neck and their wedding date on her right wrist. She recently got all her tattoos removed and documented the painful procedure on Snapchat.

Marc Anthony: After divorcing Jennifer Lopez, Marc covered up his “Jennifer” tattoo on his right wrist with a new one, which is an inkling of the Statue of Liberty, as a tribute to his girlfriend Shannon De Lima.

Heidi Klum: The supermodel got her husband Seal’s name tattooed on her arm, but it is now faded memory as she got it removed after they divorced in 2012.

Deepika Padukone: How can we leave out Bollywood’s reigning queen Deepika Padukone. We all know when she was head over heels in love with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, she got his initials tattooed on the nape of her neck. DP has now got the tattoo altered slightly, although the two continue to be best friends.
