“Commemoration of Afzal guru’s hanging which happened this year unlike the last two years, has special agenda behind it” major Ravi said in his Facebook post.

He added that people would tend to support and sympathize with anti-national elements in hope of political power.

He also added that people who support Afzal Guru should take at few moments to remember Lance Naik Hanumanthappa who lost his life in the recent Siachen avalanche.

“Afzal Guru who indulged anti-national activity was commemorated while the search for late Hanumanthappa was underway,” he crticized.

He went on to say that patriotism is not something that only soldiers should have, instead every Indian should have the same amount of patriotism.
