Now this is real inspiration and an overall tutorial instructing how to push one’s limits. This is the story of Piyush Goyal who has displayed absolute fortitude and endurance in difficult situations to come out accomplished.

The meritorious student from Kota, Rajasthan, placed 453rd in the JEE exam and secured admission in one of the most prestigious educational institutions, IIT.

After braving adverse scenarios in a jail!

All his preparation to crack JEE was done from a jail cell in Kota.

His father, Phool Chand, is a convict in a murder case and his 14-year jail sentence is almost done. Piyush was living with him in an open jail, a correctional facility where a convict is allowed to go out of the premises to work, but has to return in the evening.

Piyush was not given enough to afford a rented room. Hence he chose live with his prisoner-father in the jail cell where lights are out after 11 pm.

Regardless of all odds, according to Piyush’s father, jail authorities had always been cooperative and encouraged his child to pursue his dreams.

“The jail is not so bad. People think that the atmosphere is very bad here, but that is not so. Today I have fulfilled my father’s dream. He showed great courage by keeping me here and funding my studies,” NDTV quoted Piyush.

Kudos Champ!
