Reports stated how Deepika is being paid Rs 10 crores for her upcoming Bollywood movie – Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati – making her the highest paid actress in Bollywood. She also became the highest paid celebrity endorser after she reportedly charged a bomb (an undisclosed amount) to be the brand ambassador of Vistara. That alongwith her numerous other endorsements and a Hollywood movie has certainly put Deepika in a very good place.
However, it is not just the Indian market that Deepika is ruling at the moment. With so many things in her kitty, and the humongous amount that she is charging for Padmavati, has escalated her to the list of world’s highest paid actresses. Yes, you read it right! Forbes released a list of top 10 highest paid actresses around the globe, and the newest entrant in the list is our very own Deepika Padukone. Here’s the list.

The magazine introduced Deepika as “a popular Bollywood actress, who supplements her film earnings with numerous product endorsements.” Kudos to Deepika for bending the rules of gender-based pay in the industry.
