Delhi Police execute a 6 km car chase and rescue a 19 year old girl

Delhi: a 19 year old girl, who was abducted by three men was rescued after a daring 6km car chase by the Delhi Police.

According to the police, the incident took place around 7:30 PM in the north Delhi’s Geeta Ghat area. The girl and her brother were heading towards their home  in Wazirabad, when a car stopped near them and the driver asked them for directions. Once the siblings helped him out, he offered to give them a lift, to which they agreed.

There were men sitting behind in the car and as soon as the siblings entered, the group assaulted the brother. They robbed him of his mobile phone and wallet and pushed him out of the moving car, fleeing with his sister.

The boy approached a PCR which immediately began chasing the car. Other PCR teams were also alerted about the Santro. After a 6 km chase, the police managed to intercept the car and the accused were arrested.

Sachin Choudhary (32), Shiv kumar (32) and Saurabh (34), were charged with abduction, robbery and criminal assault.
