India kept its hope of a semi-final berth alive after an incredible last ball victory against Bangladesh in the ongoing ICC World Twenty20. Indian skipper MS Dhoni, known to be calm and composed even in the toughest situations, lost his cool at the post-match press conference taking everyone present by surprise.

Dhoni lashed out at a scribe when he was asked whether he was satisfied with the one-run victory against Bangladesh, given that it didn’t help Team India’s net run rate which would eventually dampen India’s semi-final chances. A furious Dhoni said, “I know you are not happy that India won today.” Interrupting the journalist’s attempt to clarify he continued, “Listen to me. Hearing you, your tone and your question, it’s clear that you aren’t happy that India has won. And when talking about a cricket match, there’s no script. It’s not about the script.” A frustrated Dhoni further added, “You have to analyze that after losing the toss, what was the reason that we couldn’t make many runs on that wicket. If you aren’t analyzing these things sitting outside, then you shouldn’t ask this question.”

A long pause followed the skipper’s answer before he took the next question. India turned the game around when all-rounder Hardik Pandya dismissed three Bangladeshi batsmen in the last three deliveries ensuring that India stayed in the competition!
