After beating the legendary Roger Federer in the 2015 Wimbledon finals, World No. 1 Novak Djokovic said that he was going to request women’s champion Serena Williams to dance! Believe it or not, the charismatic tennis ace did just that at the 2015 Champions’ Dinner thrown in their honour.

The Champions Dance was an age old Wimbledon tradition, but somehow this custom disappeared after the dates and venues for the tournament in 1977 was moved and was never brought back officially. However, this did not deter Djokovic from inviting the 21-time Grand Slam champion to celebrate their respective wins on the dance floor.

Take a look at the two tennis greats shaking a leg to the famous Bee Gees number ‘Night Fever’ and get completely floored!

Bringing back the tradition of the Champions’ dance to Wimbledon :) Thanks for the dance Serena Williams! Nastavljamo tradiciju vimbldonskog šampionskog plesa :) Hvala, Serena!
