The raging debate around net neutrality in India has forced Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg to break his silence over the entire issue. In a post on his profile page, Zuckerberg comes out in support of net neutrality and says it can coexist with zero-rating programmes like Internet.org.

After the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) decided to end net neutrality by April 24, 2015 in India, netizens raised massive objections to their move. Net Neutrality means allowing users to access all website freely. By ending this, users will have to pay a substantial amount and still have limited access.

We bring you Zuckerberg’s 14-point response, where he lists the importance of Internet.org and clarifies his stand on net neutrality.
