EA Sports FIFA 16 set to feature women’s national teams. It’s not a man’s game anymore!
For the first time in the game’s history of over two decades, EA Sports’ FIFA 16 is set to feature female players.
The creators of the popular game series just announced that FIFA 16 will feature 12 women’s national teams and released an exciting teaser to give us a glimpse into what we can expect.
Set to launch in Septemper, the game will include the following international teams — U.S.A., Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain and Sweden.
Some of the biggest names in women’s football like Alex Morgan and Stephanie Houghton feature in the video, reiterating that they’re not just here to watch the game, they’re in the game.
The addition of female players certainly marks a historic moment in the FIFA series, and is guaranteed to attract more female fans in the future.
Naturally, the world is excited.
