Eight-year-old Yashas Dassani from Mumbai had the Twitterverse congratulating him after he won Lufthansa’s first ever ‘Your Announcement Contest’. Over 250 children between the ages six and ten from 9 different countries participated in the contest.
Dassani will now fly to a European destination of his choice and also make a live in-flight announcement on a Lufthansa passenger plane to Frankfurt.
The contest required the children to send video clips making in-flight announcements. Expert judges from Lufthansa shortlisted the 15 most imaginative clips and an online public poll determined the winner. The contest reportedly drew responses from 22,000 visitors.
