Exes coming together is sure to attract many eyeballs and make headlines. Shilpa Shetty Kundra was recently bereaved by an unexpected tragedy as her father passed away due to a cardiac arrest. Many B-Town colleagues and celebrities attended the funeral held at her home in Mumbai on Wednesday.

What caught everyone’s attention was that Akshay Kumar was among the first celebrities to visit Shilpa and her family on hearing the news of her father’s demise. Akshay and Shilpa, who were once Bollywood’s ‘it’ couple, are now good friends and also business partners. So it was no surprise that Akshay was there to give Shilpa a shoulder to cry on during this tragedy and offer her family his condolences, even if it was only for a split second.

Other celebrities spotted at the funeral included Abhishek Bachchan, Salim Khan, Raveena Tandon and husband Anil Thadani, Bunty Walia, R Madhavan, Sanjay Kapoor, Sophie Choudhry, Arpita Khan and Ganesh Hegde.
