Facebook may soon allow users to benefit monetarily from their posts! Dubbed as Tip Jar, the new feature will help individual users to make money by promoting a cause via posts, granting them a cut out of Facebook’s earnings from each post.

Facebook may also add a call for action button which will allow followers to donate and “sponsor marketplace” to match users with advertisers.

The social networking giant distributed a user survey this week, gathering opinions on the above features. However, it is unclear whether these features will be made available to all users or only verified users.

Facebook may also introduce advertisements into suggestions that appear after a user watches a video. Part of the revenue generated through the video will be awarded to the publisher.

YouTube introduced a similar revenue-sharing programme in 2007.
