Former Andhra Pradesh MLA caught cheating during a law exam

A former MLA and two other local leaders were caught red-handed trying to cheat during the first year law examination on Thursday.

S K Mastan Vali (former MLA and the present Pradesh Congress Committee secretary), BJP leader Bhaskar Rao and Congress leader S K Jilani were caught red-handed during the Legal Language and Writing examination at the Andhra Christian College in Guntur.

As an MLA, Vali represented Guntur East constituency in the Andhra Pradesh assembly.

Dr Royal S D Lam, the principal of Andhra Christian College of Law, said that the answer sheets of the accused were confiscated and cases will be booked against them. “The three candidates would be booked on charges of suspected malpractice. Their answer scripts would be sent to ANU and they would be barred from appearing in other examinations,” the principal said.
