We were still recovering from the devastating news of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie heading for a divorce, when another high-profile Hollywood couple has announced its separation, that too after being together for 11 years!
Actress Naomi Watts and actor Liev Schreiber confirmed their seperation in a statement released recently and asked for privacy. The statement read, “Over the past few months, we’ve come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple. It is with great love, respect and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship.”
Shreiber, 48 and Watts, 47, never married but were a couple since 2005. They have two children together – nine-year-old Alexander and seven-year-old Samuel. They have also co-starred in movies The Painted Veil in 2008, Movie 43 in 2013 and most recently The Bleeder.
