If you’re planning to throw a house party this weekend, here’s a list of songs that you can include in your playlist.

Make sure to turn it up!

1) IamYank – Booms and Claps (Invite some, pour some, get comfy)
Let’s start with a bang, IamYank started off as a musician a couple of years ago with presence on Band Camp and Sound Cloud. He still is creating great tunes, too bad not many people in India have heard his tracks. This song is slow, but it has drops like bombs. Orgasmic listening begins here. Check it out.

2) Seven Lions – ISIS – (WTF did I just listen to)
Now we’ve all heard enough Dubstep, heard them again and got sick and tired of them. We’ll here’s an interesting track, it’s not dubstep, its glitchstep. A slower version of dubstep. This track has some massive bass variations and a very Indian/Arabian sounding undertone to it. A feast for the soul. Listen to it.

3) Rusty Bridges – Casual Alcoholic – (Two down, 200 to go. Keep chugging)
Casual Alcoholic is irritatingly addictive. You know that feeling you get when you really don’t want to listen to a song at a party but have to pretend to groove to it because everybody else is? Well, this one you just wouldn’t feel like turning off because it is so damn irritatingly addictive. The blood content in your alcohol level is too high, turn it up and bring out the shooters.

4) Cryptex – Slay it (Need more be said?)
Here’s one for the dubstep lovers, this is one of those playlist upgrade tracks. You’ve got to wait until the claps to go wooaah! It’s time to turn it up a couple of notches, warm up the air for what’s coming next type deal. Time to slay them bottles and experiment on the dance floor.

5) Schoolboy – Aftershock
Imagine if glitchstep and dubstep had a baby, and that baby had a baby with EDM, this is the product you’ll get. Schoolboy has a very unique style of creating music, this particular song has a steady tempo with some pretty interesting drops. It’s a good time to go talk to that hot guy/girl now. Cheers!

6) Sick Individuals – Chase (Pun intended)
Let’s play one for the not so musically intellectuals out there. This track sounds pretty main stream, but it does have nicely placed tune and tempo changes. Got to listen to it a couple of times before you start to enjoy it. Let’s take it down a notch. Go easy on those shooters now!

7) Jewels & Sparks – Parade 98 (First chase, then kill. Pheew. Just like the animals)
Glittery and electrifying is what these guys are all about, this track kind of has a Martin Garrix grove to it, minus the dark wave. Jewels & Sparks had to be on this list to mellow things down slowly. Now since the chase is over, it’s time to go for the kill. Good luck! Check it out.

8) Beats Antique – Runaway (Time to start getting rid of people now)
Beats antique is a Gypsie treat, it’s got a very ethnic feel to it and some pretty good drops too. This particular song has amazing strings and the bass is just what you need to set the mood for that 2 person after party. This is a good time to get that wine and find a comfy corner.

9) Tron Sepia – Flange (If people are not leaving, you’ve got to make them feel awkward)
A special place, with that special one and this special song. Get the drift? You can ignore the people who have passed out. Flange is just what you need to mellow things down, it’s got a sensuous groove to it that’s sure to send chills up your spine.

10) Kalya Scintilla – Shadow Lurker (Stay focused)

Shadow Lurker is the perfect union between Veena and Glitch, waxing and waning through your senses this song will melt in your ears like dark chocolate. It’s that song that you just need to have on your wind up playlist, you can figure out occasions and reasons to play it.

So that’s the Saturday night playlist, here’s a message to all you party people out there. A couple more lists like this one will be coming up soon, so we suggest that you leave your vehicles at home before you go party. Drinking and driving is a stupid thing to do, you’ve got a lot of parties to attend to and a lot more to throw, so don’t be stupid. Cheers!
