However, speculations have been on that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won’t be a part of the promotions of the movie, allegedly because the Bachchan family is unhappy with her steamy scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in the movie.

But we know the real reason why Aishwarya won’t be promoting her upcoming movie, and no, the reason is not the Bachchan family! Aishwarya, who plays a parallel lead, doesn’t want to take away the limelight from Anushka Sharma, who is the main lead actress of the film. Anushka, who has been in Europe for a month now shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s The Ring, will only return to the country later this month and start the promotions of the film, and Aish will join her for the promotions then. Aishwarya doesn’t want to promote the film alone with Ranbir and lead people to think that she is the main heroine of this love triangle.

Till then, Ranbir will make solo appearances on a few shows and cities to promote the film.
