The state, whose fashion sense has undergone a much-refreshing dimension of late, will soon have a new beauty walking down the e-commerce ramp. And, holding the key to you all your fashion fads would be none other than Kavya Madhavan, the pretty heroine with the face that has launched many a celluloid dream.

Kavya’s foray into being an entrepreneur is now the talk of the Mollywood tinsel town. The actress who made her debut long back as a child artiste made her presence felt as leading lady to three generations of heroes in Malayalam cinema. From commercial flicks to arty movies, Kavya has done them all, and has a rich fan base applauding her whenever she’s on screen or off it.
The new foray into e-commerce has now struck the right note even before the final shape of her business venture has been announced. From what is being murmured, the actress’ would be launching her e-commerce fashion store along with her elder brother Mithun Madhavan.

Folks at Malayala Manorama have hinted that Kavya’s online fashion store would be called Laksyah, and comes with the tag The Vintage Charm. From sarees to salwars and lehengas to bridal wear, the actress’ e-store would have all those designer stuff one would look for. These apart, the store also plans to put on its online racks all modern readymade outfits you would want to wear.
Though Kerala’s – especially Kochi’s – premier business locations are lined with boutiques and fashion stores started by yester year and current stars of the Malayalam celluloid screen, Kavya’s venture is the first online store by an actress that would offer customers with the option of buying clothes online. What we could look forward to is a complete women’s store, that would also dole out designing opportunities for young designers with a knack for creating modern day attire.
The venture is aid to have already tied up with a courier company to ensure speedy delivery of items people order from the online store. With Kavya and her venture based in Kochi, plans are also afoot to make sure that customers get their orders delivered the same day. Isn’t that awesome?
