A ‘spy pigeon’ from Pakistan carrying an Urdu message and a wire-like object was reportedly captured by Punjab police on Friday.

While the incident may have serious repurcussions with regards to India’s fight against terrorism and peace talks with Pakistan, the nature of the story still manages to leave you with a chuckle.

While the media’s first duty is to inform, no journalist can resist the temptation to be funny, entertaining and witty once in a while.

And the Indian media is no exception. The country’s leading news outlets got pretty creative while covering the ‘spy pigeon’ from Pakistan, which was caught and detained in Pathankot.
