How to squeeze the juice out of human tragedy ‘Left’, ‘Right’ and centre!

Of late, electronic virtual realms fancies picking up trivial matters to the debate platforms especially when it comes to political affiliation and associated degrees in ‘patriotic’ outlooks.

Similarly, a debate on ‘knickers’ triggered an appallingly below the belt conversation trail in the virtual world after the tragic temple-firework mishap in Kollam earlier this week.

As the most deplorable human tragedy that the state had seen took stage, one group that identifies with the ‘Left’ hurls mud on the other sect that identifies with ‘Right’ views and the latter catches it only to hurl it back.

Just so you know, the ‘lefties’ call the ‘Right’ men ‘Sanghis’ and they in turn call the ‘Left’ men ‘Commies’.

Now, here’s it—as annoying as it sounds!

Commies believe that the Sanghis made a last-minute change in their relief operations after the mishap. Do you know why? Because the Sanghis realized that they aren’t in their khaki knicker—symbolic of their hardened RSS right wing beliefs!

A deluge of trolls shaming the RSS activists hit the timelines of the social media platforms. Trolls mocked the RSS activists’ wicked prudence during this harrowing time.

Well, did the Sanghis keep quiet? No. They too were quick to stoop low to retaliate disregarding the grief and agony that had filled the air all across the state. Even if the intentions were pious as they claim to have been, should they have reacted?

So, what  was the issue there? Was it the knicker or their involvement in the rescue and relief mission? Similarly, shouldn’t the Sanghi have ‘shut up’ to the ‘nonsense’ instead of battling it out? The so-called Sanghi siders claimed to expose the relief team of Commies, who carried out the relief work, as belonging to DYFI. The counter trolls to commies were unparliamentary. Facepalm!

Bottom line:

Everybody knows that with the state assembly elections coming up, there needs to be some groundwork that would attribute to political identities. And these ‘good souls’ have to be marketed. All this at the cost of 111 lives?
