Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and his two sons were stuck at the Istanbul’s Ataturk airport, few hours before the terrorist attack that has killed at least 36 people.
The 42-year-old Bollywood star was en-route to India from his vacation in Africa along with his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan. The star and his sons had missed a connection flight to India.
“Missed a connection flight at Istanbul and were stuck at airport next flight was next day, but took economy and flew out earlier. #PrayersforIstanbul,” Hrithik tweeted.

The actor thanked the Istanbul airport authorities for assistance they rendered to him and requested his fans to come out in solidarity against terrorism.
“Was helped by the kindest staff at Istanbul airport hours ago. Shocking news. Innocents killed for religion. We must stand united against terrorism,” he added.
Three suspected Islamic State group suicide bombers targeted the international terminal of Istanbul’s Ataturk airport, killing 36 and injuring many others.
