The Airport Authority of India (AAI) was judged as the best service provider in the world in the 2-5 million passenger category. The ranking is based on the ‘Airport Service Quality’ survey conducted by the Airports Council International (a global non-profit organization of international airport operators).

Jaipur International Airport was declared as the world’s best airport followed by Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow—in the same category.

In the Asia-Pacific region, Goa International Airport was ranked fourth followed by Trivandrum International Airport.

AAI’s Srinagar International Airport was rated the second best in the world under the category of airports that cater to passengers up to 2 million per annum.

All eleven AAI airports surveyed were rated above the world average of 4.13 on a scale of 5.
