Indian girl plays drums for 31 hours straight and sets a world record

24-year-old Srishti Patidar from Indore, Madhya Pradesh entered the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest drumming marathon.

Srishti who began her drumming session on Monday at 12:30 p.m., continued to play the till 8 p.m. on Tuesday, putting up a 31 hour performance. She only took 3 breaks during the entire session.

The previous record was set by Sophia from Mexico, who played the drums for 24 hours at a stretch.

Ecstatic with the amazing feat, her instructor Bablu Sharma said that Srishti had worked very hard for the last few months to get to this place. The musician’s father, Vinod Patidar, who is a farmer by profession, feels very proud at his daughter’s amazing feat.
