Jet Airways’ flights landed minutes before Brussels blasts—all passengers safe
The external affairs ministry confirmed that one out of the two Jet Airways’ staff members injured in the Brussels airport blasts is a female.
Reportedly, two of Jet Airways’ flights, one from Delhi and the other from Mumbai, had landed at the airport minutes before the blasts.
According to the data available from the aviation website Flightradar24, Jet Airways flight 9W 228 from Mumbai landed at Brussels at 7.11 am local time and 9W 230 from Delhi landed at 8.08 am.
13 people were reported dead following the blasts. No Indian casualty has yet been reported.
“I am in touch with Manjeev Puri Indian Ambassador in Brussels. He has informed me that so far there is no report of any Indian casualty,” said External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on twitter.

Meanwhile, Jet Airways said that all of its carriers at the Brussels airport are safe.
It added that it is “making all efforts to confirm the status of all its staff and guests. As per first information, the Jet Airways aircraft in Brussels are safe.”
