Canadian premier Justin Trudeau since elected recently has been on a steady road gaining more and more fans with his charming and most thoughtful interventions.

Having a large number of people of Indian origin in his fan following, he did not fail to remember and commemorate the independence day of India. His jolly fervor did not fail to capture the minds of Indians who have taken up citizenship in Canada.

He recently posted a video in Facebook in which he is seen clad in Indian attire and shaking legs to the tunes of ‘bhangra’ along with Indian revelers who were celebrating the 70th independence day.

“Today, we join the people of India and members of the Indo-Canadian community in celebrating India’s 70th Independence Day.

Canada and India unite in our shared traditions of democracy and diversity. Together, our nations stand as a testament to the fact that countries can prosper not in spite of their diversity, but precisely because of it,”: read a statement issued by his office.
