KFC India to donate Rs 5 to hungry children for every bucket ordered for the month

What if you could eat to your heart’s content and while doing so, also feed the poor? For the month of October, KFC India has announced that it will be donating Rs. 5 to feed hungry children for every bucket ordered.

KFC says that this this initiative is a part their ‘Hope campaign’, an effort to eradicate hunger in  the country.The fast-food chain will allegedly be utilizing over 300 outlets to generate awareness and  engagement from their customers towards the initiative.

KFS has rebranded their immensely popular red bucket design with the ‘addHope’ slogan and special characters. Customers will be able to visit www.addhope.in and check out the stories behind the charecters featured on their bucket.  

We had recently reported about how 39% of children from India have stunted growth because of deprivation of food. Countries around the world are fighting for eradicating hunger by the year 2030. Initiatives such as KFC would indeed help the cause.
