Yes, you heard it right. Ah, we wonder, how come the chiseled chopstick-like legs never get tired of staying put in sky-high wedges all the time! Well, because they are engineered so. Her feet are anatomically so designed they look as if confidently perched atop a pair of toweringly tall pumps—just like that snooty bird on the top of a pole.

To give her a more real look, the makers have recently announced for the make-over where Barbies will have feet that can wear flats.

Also, it will introduce 8 skin tones, 14 facial sculpts, 18 eye colours, 22 hair styles and 23 hair colours to make the doll appear more like a human.

Recently there has been a lot of changes happening in the toy world after Toy Like Me campaign (#toylikeme) took Facebook by storm. The supporters have been rooting for “diversity in the toy box” demanding for toys that represent children in an inclusive way. Recently British toy company Makies allowed kids to customize their dolls to their preferences—irrespective of sizes, shapes, hair types and skin tones. The best thing is it introduced toys to kids that have body deformities just like them. First of a kind!
