If reports are to be believed, the makers have signed Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and Nora Lum as well. The Asian-American actress-rapper Nora also goes by the stage name Awkwafina. The latest two celebrities to have joined this interesting star cast of fierce females, are Anne Hathaway and singer Rihanna.

This film is being produced by Ocean’s Eleven director Steven Soderbergh. After the Ghostbusters female spin-off, it will be interesting to see how eight actresses step into the shoes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia and other actors who were a part of the Ocean’s Trilogy.
