By beating India in the ODI series, Bangaldesh players have proven that they have grown and matured a great deal as international cricketers.

But their fans still seem to be acting like a bunch of out-of-control, misbehaving kids.

Sachin Tendulkar’s biggest fan and famous Team India supporter Sudhir Gautam, who has made a name for himself with his flamboyant body paint and trademark waving of the tri-colour, was reportedly attacked by a group of Bangladeshi supporters following India’s defeat to the hosts in the second ODI in Dhaka.

Soon after Sudhir left the stadium, the mob attacked him and snatched the Indian flag away from him. When he tried to escape in an auto, a few even pelted stones at the vehicle, he told reporters.

The attack drew angry reactions from cricket fans on Twitter.

Bangladesh may have created history by recording their first series win over India on Sunday. But the incident outside the stadium following that memorable win is certainly one they would want to forget soon.

Or as Star Sports would put it, ‘Bachche toh Bachche hi rahenge’
