Pornhub, one of the largest porn sites on the internet, has launched a new section dedicated to virtual reality porn. The company partnered with established VR porn store called BaDoink to offer you free VR content.With this launch, the adult site is now providing both 180-degree and 360-degree VR content for free.
Pornhub claims that the videos can be played with most virtual reality headsets including Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR,
and Google Cardboard with smartphones. According to a Gizmodo review, the content is not exactly VR , as it isn’t in 3D. However,
the 360 degree video makes it seem like you are actually there.
“At Pornhub it is our duty to provide our global audience with the latest in cutting edge technology. Virtual reality is the next phase in the constantly metamorphosing world of adult entertainment, and will provide users with a mesmeric experience unlike anything they’ve seen before. Now, our users are not only able to view our content, but be protagonists in the experience and interact with their favourite porn stars,” said Corey Price, Vice President, Pornhub.
The company is also giving away 10,000 free Google Cardboard-like devices, to promote the new category.
