Postman finds a common man’s letters to Gandhiji. What follows will change your idea of freedom!

Bapu, a short film by Terrible Tiny Talkies is the story of a man who writes a letter to his guide and inspiration, the great Mahatma Gandhi in 1948, asking for guidance and direction.

But the replies that one get for one’s doubts might not always come the expected way, but in greater and better ways.

Kedar Chunawala does get his reply and the film shows how formidable and seemingly uncontrollable aspects like Freedom and Destiny ultimately work for man’s good, though in their own ways. And also why freedom need not always have a black and white connotation, instead can come in many ways to many people in return for their sacrifices, as it did to our great Jawans.

Remembering our national heroes and lesser known brave-hearts this Independence Day, this film is a fitting tribute to all those who made big or very small sacrifices for India’s Independence.
