Review Central: Bajrangi Bhaijaan – Could this be Salman Khan’s best ever?

Say goodbye to the chest-baring, punchline-spouting, stereotyped Salman Khan. Sallu the actor is here, announces Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film’s storyline is simple: good triumphing over hatred as the God-fearing Hanuman bhakt Bajrangi sets off to across the border to reunite a mute Pakistani girl with her family. He is helped along the way by Rasika, played by Kareena Kapoor.

The critics are raving, without exception. This, they say, is Salman Khan in his finest form. What an Eid treat for his fans!

Our take: A can’t-go-wrong story, Salman at his best, the lovely Harshaali Malhotra as Pakistani girl Shahida – it’s a winning combination. Go watch.
